The way they took care of my Mum & Dad whilst they were in their care was outstanding. They were very respectful and sensitive from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble.

Val explained everything to us, and helped us to look at things in a different way. They were not pushy to get us to purchase the most expensive caskets etc, in fact helped us to save money without it looking cheap.

We went to other funeral directors at first, however the standard of time and care stood out way above any other funeral directors in the area.

My Father-in-law sadly died and from the day that Jim and his colleague came to collect him from his home to the day of cremation, he was treated with the utmost of respect, they told us from the beginning that they would look after him and that they most certainly did.

We had to postpone the funeral once the date had been set due to a small family crisis which would have meant that two of Bill’s closest could not attend. Val and Claire were amazing, so calm, caring, nothing was a problem and they both guided us with the right decisions in the end whilst assuring us that my Father-in-law would be looked after even with a delay on the plans. They accommodated every need and did everything for us, they would have done anything we asked and it wouldn’t have been a problem.

The funeral itself was absolutely perfect, so respectful. We were all so proud of Jim and the Pallbearers and we new that my Father-in-Law would have been so proud of his own Funeral. You can’t ask for any more than that. Jim and his team looked after us all from the time the car picked us up to delivery to the Wake.

Val and Claire organised everything for us including the Order of Service and PDF version which was beautifully put together, Just Giving page, the Live Stream, flowers and organising a Celebrant, Anne who we met at St Mary’s Church. Once we met her, we knew then that the Service was going to be perfect.

Taylor and Wallis give a very personal, friendly yet professional service. Saying goodbye to Bill was made easier thanks to everyone there.

We can’t thank everyone at Taylor and Wallis enough.

I have unfortunately said goodbye to both my Dad and Mum within the last nine months. Taylor & Wallis we amazing throughout. Mum didn’t want a ceremony for Dad (as it was during Covid) so they kindly arranged to bring him “home” one more time and the whole street turned out to say goodbye. It was simple, respectful and organised beautifully, so much so that Mum decided when it was her time she wanted the same.

The staff here make the process as painless as possible, they show understanding, respect and attention to detail. I couldn’t have asked for better people to look after both of my parents.
